As expected it is a purely GVM style of film, the romance scenes makes you fall for it which only GVM can do. The first half is purely a Blizz with not much story plot but cute romantic scenes which is enjoyable , the first half moves kind of travel film and the love portions combined with AR Rahman magical music stands out !

Overall, AYM is a partly delightful, partly engaging thriller which is high on emotions. Gautham Menon has clearly displayed an ingeniousness in weaving a mainstream subplot into his trademark urban romance, which he has mastered it.

Gautham Menon and Simbhu's long delayed release is finally out. The movie starts out trying to please the fans who may have cherished 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya' (VTV). The first half takes a lot of time to establish the relationship between the lead characters. However, the director decides to take a complete U-turn as the genre switches from love to action. 'AYM' is a mish-mash of love and action without a coherent script to tie it all together.
