Arjun, playing the role of a cop delivers a convincing performance. The fluctuations in his portrayal are quite justified during the climax. Shaam might become your favorite among the three as the ease in his performance enhances the impact his character intends to have on the audience. One might not be very happy with what Manisha Koirala has to offer, both performance and screen time vise.

The film is based on a Spanish thriller ‘The Body (El Cupero)’. Director AMR Ramesh should be appreciated for his screenplay as that is biggest plus of the film. He has not deviated much from the main storyline except the songs that come as dampeners of the pace of the narration. ‘Oru Melliya Kodu’ is an engaging thriller that deserves a watch.
