Director Prem Sai focussed more on the script, the film could have been so much better. The highlight of the movie is Santhanam, who played an important role and surely he will mesmerize with his Comedy timing.

This is definitely not a never-seen-before story line. The plot is good enough but the climax is not climactic enough. No dialogues to elevate the middle class youngster who is an unsung hero till the climax.
Delayed, but not denied

Jai fits well, while Yami has little scope to prove herself. Nasser, Santhanam and Ashutosh Rana add value. Had only Prem Sai focussed more on the script, the film could have been so much better.
When Commercialization Mars A Great Plot!

Jai looks convincing in his courier boy avatar. However, when it comes to the action sequences, the actor looks a tad out of place. This Jai-starrer could've been an edge of the seat thriller. But how many Tamil directors are bold enough to completely trust their story? Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum is another film that suffers at the hands of commercialization.
A decent delivery that could have been little faster and sharper.

The cast is decent enough with Jai at his usual best. Yami Gautham could have been given a meatier role. Although Santhanam’s presence in a thriller can be questioned, but his one-liners and comebacks do tickle our funny bone in every scene he appears. Overall the director has taken up quite an intriguing plot, but misses the bull’s eye when it comes to execution. But one can say that Premsai has done a reasonably fair job in his debut.
An important subject handled with inanity

Debutante director Premsai falls into this trap -- but probably with the noble intention of offering ‘fulsome’ entertainment. But what appears on the screen is a string of irritating interludes that destroys a subject as disturbing as misuse of stem cell technology. The film is Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum in Tamil.
Some good thrills and entertainment

‘Tamilsevanum Thaniyar Anjalum’ is a watchable commercial thriller that involves a new concept of stem cells. If more attention was paid for the credibility aspect, this would have been the best of thrillers.
